Summary:
The Regulations govern the discipline within the National Armed Forces, including the military hierarchy and the reciprocal obligations of superiors and subordinates, the duties and training of the military, and rewards and penalties. The duties of the military in combat include respect of the rules of international law on the conduct of hostilities and the treatment of prisoners with humanity. The soldier should not carry out an order which is manifestly illegal or contrary to the laws and customs of war.
