
Malawi
Malawi gained independence from the United Kingdom on 6 July 1964. On 24 July 1967, Malawi adopted implementing legislation for the Geneva Conventions through the Geneva Conventions Act, 1967, which repealed the 1957 Geneva Conventions Act of the United Kingdom, "in so far as [it] form[s] part of the law of Malawi".
