"People are smiling. It's typical of the distributions in Africa. When food is distributed, it's the women who are there to receive it. It's not because it's the women who do the cooking, it's more a question of organisation. Very often in these societies it's the women who are responsible for the management of the household. And in this respect the power lies really with women.
