With the support of the ICRC, the Red Crescent Society of Azerbaijan recently held a drawing competition for the 60 children of an orphanage in the capital Baku. On 15 April, National Society and ICRC representatives visted the children and held a session on the Movement, its history, its challenges and humanitarian action, together with the basic ideas associated with the emblems.

The three lucky winners were announced at the orphanage on 6 May, and the drawings will shortly be on display at a gallery in Baku.
