The ICRC is appealing for over 843 million Swiss francs to the help the victims of war and internal violence in 2007. A further 160 million Swiss francs will be allocated to coordination and support provided by Geneva headquarters. More than 12,000 employees in 80 countries worldwide are working to assist and protect people suffering as a result of armed conflict. Pierre Krähenbühl presents the organization's priorities in the year ahead.
