Our world. Your move. Events in Georgia.

Inspired by the campaign slogan Our world. Your move., Red Cross Week in Tbilisi was an exciting time. On 4 May, volunteers from the Red Cross Society of Georgia took children from Satnoeba Orphanage to an amusement park, while on 6 May the Red Cross Clowns brought laughter to young leukemia patients in M. Iashvili Hospital. And then of course there was the contest on the theme of the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement that the National Society’s youth department organized at a school in the capital.

The campaign continued on 8 May with a photo exhibition entitled You are not alone. Turning from red to green, volunteers performed a thorough facelift on the square in front of National Society’s headquarters. Local residents were so impressed that they spontaneously offered to help plant flowers! And the square will shortly be renamed “Red Cross Square.”

A charity concert in Vake Park ended the week on a high note!
