Asia disaster: additional (non-Red Cross) sites to help locate family members
Many sites are offering help for people trying to locate relatives following the earthquake and tsunamis that devastated coastal regions of Asia on 26 December.
Links organized according to their sources: governmental, non-governmental organizations, press and media, individual websites, forums, blogs and wiki portals

The ICRC has put together a list of some sites that it has found by searching the web; however, under no circumstances can it endorse claims made by these sites or their methods, or guarantee their success. The ICRC's sole aim is to help families by providing additional search tools.
