Home > Focus > RC Movement > Council of Delegates > 2009 News Section Council of Delegates - 2009 ![]() The Council of Delegates – bringing together all 186 National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, their International Federation and the ICRC – will meet in Africa for the first time, from 23 to 25 November 2009, in Nairobi, Kenya.
From 23 to 25 November, the entire International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement will meet in Nairobi, Kenya to adopt new policies and strategies to address today's humanitarian challenges, including internal displacement and migration, the protection of health care in armed conflicts and other situations of violence, the humanitarian consequences of climate change and the regulation of weapons under international humanitarian law.
