South Asia earthquake - ICRC operations
On 8 October an earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale
killed tens of thousands of people in India and Pakistan and injured countless others, flattening entire villages and causing massive damage to infrastructure. The ICRC mobilized its resources to help the victims of this disaster.
