Gaza: the crisis continues without the prospect of lasting peace
Three months after Israel’s military operation, people in the Gaza Strip still struggle to exist. Tens of thousands have had their homes wrecked. Aid has been pledged, but without a courageous peace process, no meaningful reconstruction can take place.

Some areas of the Gaza Strip have been completely transformed because of the vast number of houses that were destroyed. Whole neighbourhoods were wiped out, leaving the people who lived there without homes. Some 10,000 houses have been partially or completely ruined because of the Israeli operation.
