General information

q     Standard generators for electrical power supply where the mains supply is not accessible/reliable.

q     These generators come standard with 3 phase. On request they can be supplied with single phase wiring set up. This can be necessary for a building where the original circuit is single phase.

q     Different engines are presented, they are the recommended standards. Other brands can also be the preferred choice according to the regional availability, and standards already in place. Supply of spare parts and technical support for maintenance and repair are major issues in the long run.

q     The power of the standard engines is adapted for use at 150m ASL altitude and 30°C ambient. If the conditions of use are more severe (higher altitude and/or hotter temperature), specify on your order the altitude and the ambient temperature. See technical pages …

q       Technical knowledge required to calculate the total power needs and to choose the generator accordingly.

q     A circuit inverser switch (Main/Off/Generator) is included in the set to adapt the generator onto an existing circuit already supplied from the mains.

q     Noise reduction canopy is recommended in all cases. Different levels of noise reduction are available at different cost. Industrial type (standard) is not recommended in residential area. Above prices include standard noise reduction canopy.

q     Should always be supplied with a first maintenance set of:

-       Air filter (5), Fuel filter (10), Oil filter (10).

q     Trailer mounted option. 2 types available: “On site trailer” and “Road trailer”. The site trailer is limited to 40 kph maximum speed, and does not have lights and equipment to go on road. Not included in above prices (CHF1200 for site trailer, CHF4000 for road trailer, up to 20kVA).

Control panel. Mounted in the canopy. Accessible from outside. Includes:

Volt meter (3). Ampere meter (3). Frequency meter (1). Hour counter. Water temperature gauge. Oil pressure gauge, charge warning light. Starter key (+1spare key). Emergency stop push on switch. Receptacle 3 x 220V Euro type, minimum. 1 circuit breaker per receptacle. Main/Off/Generator switch. Differential circuit breaker rated 300mA.

Automatic shut off for oil pressure failure, water temperature failure, charging failure.

Generator set mounted on skid with anti vibration mounts, with steel plate complete canopy. Forced ventilation. Fuel tank integrated in skid, of 100L minimum. Canopy and all equipment to be weather proof, with locking doors, painted in white. 1 or 2 lifting points. Earth connection.
