Myanmar: ICRC supports relief efforts for cyclone hit country
The ICRC is continuing its support for international relief activities on behalf of those affected by cyclone Nargis in Myanmar. The organization has flown tonnes of assistance into the country and truck loads of aid have been distributed to three detention facilities in the Irrawaddy delta. The Movement response to the disaster is being coordinated by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
