Summary

George Comninos, ICRC's head of delegation in Tripoli, explains the ICRC's role during and after the battle for the capital. In the weeks ahead, the ICRC will strengthen its contacts with all authorities to make sure that international humanitarian law is respected everywhere. Its main focus will be the protection of those still at risk, in particular detainees.
