Lebanese families open their houses to Syrian refugees
01-05-2014 Feature
In northern Lebanon, as in other parts of the country, Lebanese families have opened their houses to Syrian refugees. Three years into the conflict, life is becoming increasingly difficult for them and for their guests as they share their limited resources. Abu Said and his family live in Wadi Khaled. Seven families from Syria are now staying with them. The ICRC helps both refugees and hosts like Abu Said, providing food, blankets and other essentials.
