Chad: Tahir learns to walk

On the Day of the African Child, the ICRC is recognizing the bravery and resilience of children who have been injured and disabled by war, accident or disease. Tahir is a young boy living in Chad who never had the use of his legs because of a rare bone disease.This video shows the fantastic journey that Tahir takes, with the help of the Kabalaye physical rehabilitation centre, as he learns to walk and become independent.
