On 19 April 2012, the ICRC held an interactive webinar to assist ICRC Delegations and National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in their dialogue with governments on the negotiation of the Arms Trade Treaty. ICRC Arms Unit staff described the current status of the UN negotiation process, the ICRC position on the key elements of the treaty, and ways in which countries can be moved to adopt strong positions and participate actively in the ATT negotiations.
