At the end of November, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement hosted its first-ever TEDx event, called TEDxRC². It was an overwhelming success with more than 550 participants in Geneva and a worldwide webcast audience. During the event, seven remarkable speakers and two amazing performers shared their thoughts and ideas for multiplying the power of humanity. One of them was Alberto Cairo, who runs the ICRC's orthopaedic programme in Afghanistan.
