30-08-2013 Feature

In November 2001, 20 young men left their homes in Dhading, central Nepal, to work on an airport runway in Kalikot, mid-western Nepal. Four months later, the radio reported that 17 of them had been killed during security operations in Kalikot. Altogether, 37 persons were allegedly killed that day. Now, over a decade later, the film "Don't go so far" follows their families on an emotional journey to visit their grave and perform the farewell rituals that will let them rest in peace.
