ICRC activities in Iraq in 2009 – Facts and figures

Today Iraq remains one of the ICRC's biggest operations worldwide. From its main delegation in Baghdad and other offices countrywide, the organization visits detainees, restores links between dispersed families, helps internally displaced people and residents restore livelihoods and runs health and rehabilitation projects in favour of the civilian population.
