Lebanese Red Cross volunteers: Giving it their all

22-12-2013 Feature

Lebanese Red Cross volunteers are renowned for their efficiency and neutrality. And the violence that rocks their country from time to time leaves them unafraid. Accepted by all of Lebanon's communities, these paramedics help everyone who needs them, whether they're Lebanese or refugees from Syria. We take a look at this truly exemplary service, which the ICRC has been supporting since 1971.

This short film is part of a series of five on the plight of Syrian refugees in Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq. In this five films we look at the difficulties Syrian refugees are encountering as their painful exile continues, and at what we are doing to help.
