Every day women are raped in Eastern Congo. They suffer not only physical pain but also emotional trauma and the fear of rejection. The ICRC supports over 30 counselling centres in North and South Kivu, where victims of rape meet compassionate listeners and find support as they talk about their suffering.
This video was produced for the "Our World, Your Move." campaign in 2009.
