Queen Rania of Jordan visits ICRC

Geneva (ICRC) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan was received at the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) today by ICRC vice-president Jacques Forster.

On Thursday 3 October Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan visited the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross, where she was received by ICRC vice-president Jacques Forster.

Queen Rania also visited the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum in the company of Roger Mayou, the Museum's director.

This visit comes just a few weeks before the publication in Arabic of the ICRC study " Women Facing War " .

Queen Rania will launch the book herself in Amman at the end of November 2002.
