Israel and the occupied territory: ICRC supports medics and civilians in Gaza and Israel

The recent hostilities have seriously affected the lives of civilians in both Gaza and Israel. This photo diary shows how the ICRC and its partners from the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement (the Palestine Red Crescent Society and the Magen David Adom in Israel) helped those affected.

Palestine Red Crescent paramedics evacuate an injured boy.Palestine Red Crescent paramedics worked around the clock under very difficult security conditions to treat casualties and evacuate them to Gazan hospitals. The ICRC supplied the paramedics with dressing materials and provided hospitals with medicines and other medical supplies.
