The ICRC in the field: focusing on people in need

06-12-2012 Photo gallery

In 2013, the ICRC aims to continue its efforts to help communities and individuals left vulnerable as a result of conflict and other forms of violence. Despite the many complex challenges facing humanitarian work around the world, including difficulty reaching those needing help and growing security risks for staff, the ICRC will continue to place the person in need at the centre of its concerns. (These photos illustrate some of the major ICRC ongoing operations. All images can be downloaded at high resolution.)
