On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a dozen patients from the ICRC physical rehabilitation centre in Tindouf, south-western Algeria, took part in the Noukhaila desert marathon.

  To mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the ICRC put up a sign indicating the meeting point for people going to Noukhaila physical rehabilitation centre. The ICRC drives patients the 5 km from the meeting point to the centre, where they can receive the care they need.
