During the 1996-2006 conflict between Nepalese security forces and Maoist insurgents the ICRC served as a neutral intermediary, helping civilians and visiting detainees. Since 2006, we have been busy tracing missing persons and addressing the consequences of the conflict. This publication explains ICRC's current action in Nepal and its partnership with the Nepal Red Cross Society.
