ICRC’s library collection development policy

The aim of the ICRC's library collection development policy is to maintain the relevance and quality of its collection.

This policy therefore sets out to:

  • set guidelines for organizing, developing and conserving the collections
  • bring acquisitions into line with the ICRC's future plans
  • coordinate and harmonize acquisitions and collection management, and ensure that these are carried out efficiently.
