On June 24, 2014, the ICRC Vice-President, Ms Christine Beerli, opened a panel discussion on "The Challenges of Increasingly Autonomous Weapons", organized at La Maison de la Paix (Geneva) by the ICRC, the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs and the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.Read more
On 28 May the Australia Mission held a special panel discussion to mark the upcoming edition of the International Review of the Red Cross (IRRC) dealing with multinational operations and the law.Read more
The discussion, co-organized with the Institute for Human Rights and Business, launched an edition of the International Review of the Red Cross on business, violence and conflict. It gathered around 100 business people, government officials and civil society representatives to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London on June 17th.Read more
