The ICRC regional delegation in Tashkent

The ICRC helps the authorities in Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to promote IHL and other humanitarian norms and integrate them into national legislation, academic curricula and the practices of military and security forces. It visits detainees in Uzbekistan and helps boost the capacity of the region’s Red Crescent Societies. Read full overview
