Summary:
This law governs the use and protection of the red cross and red crescent emblems and designations and the distinctive signals. It distinguishes between the indicative and protective uses of the emblems, assigns rights in this respect to specific entities, provides for control over use of the emblems by the Red Crescent Society of Azerbaijan and the relevant State bodies, and refers to national legislation as regards punishment for non-compliance.
