Summary:

This law establishes the procedure for declaring persons missing as a result of the Second World War to be dead, including concentration camp detainees and prisoners of war whose fate was never clarified after the end of the hostilities. It also contains provisions on transcription of declarations of death pronounced by the courts and never included in official records owing to the war, as well as a number of articles on the correction of those records.
