Summary:
This order extends to "Colonial Territories" listed in its First Schedule the provisions of the Geneva Conventions Act 1957 Database 'IHL - National Implementation', View 'Maintenance\2. Implementing Laws & Regulations \ 1. by State', Document 'Geneva Conventions Act 1957 (as amended)', with certain exceptions and modifications as specified in its Second Schedule.

The list of colonial territories is to be found in Schedule 1. These are now out of date. No amendment to this statutory instrument appears to have been made. The list of such territories is not identical to the Biological Weapons (Overseas Territories) Order 1975, S.I. No. 240.
