    The Diplomatic Conference of 1929 was convened by the Swiss Federal Council for the purpose of revising the Geneva Convention of 1906 and adopting a new convention in relation to the treatment of prisoners of war. The Conference, at which 47 governments were represented, lasted from 1-27 July 1929. The Final Act has no force of law.
