Geneva (ICRC) – Marking Red Hand Day, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has appealed for an end to the use of children as soldiers and for other tasks in armies.

On 1 July the ICRC press prize was awarded to the Croatian journalist Suzana Hetrich and her team for the documentary Djeca – Zrtve Rata (Child Victims of War) at the 45th Monte Carlo Television Festival.
