The ICRC has provided essential household items to over 63,000 people in the conflict-affected areas, as well as transporting hundreds of thousands of litres of drinking water. The organization also continues to lend a hand to health authorities in the North and East by providing urgently needed medicines and carrying out activities to promote health and prevent diseases, particularly Chikungunya and dengue fever.
