Living with cluster munitions in Lebanon
Cluster munitions continue to endanger civilians in Lebanon one year after the war's end.

Only after the weeds are cleared can deminers use a metal detector to search for submunitions that may lie buried beneath a farmer’s field. Submunitions dropped on agricultural land, where tilled soil tends to be soft, can become embedded in the ground.
