30th International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement
Geneva, 26 - 30 November 2007
The 30th International Conference grouping the National Societies, their International Federation, the ICRC and the 194 States party to the Geneva Conventions, took place from 26 to 30 November 2007, in Geneva, at the International Conference Center (CICG).

The 30th International Conference was preceded by the Council of Delegates (23-24 November 2007) and by the General Assembly of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (20-22 November 2007).

Convocation have been issued on 21 May 2007 to all members of the International Conference and to observers. It provides them with the draft provisional agenda, the discussion paper, a preliminary list of workshops, guidelines for pledging and guiding principles applicable to the election of the Standing Commission.

Together for humanity” is the slogan that the Standing Commission has adopted for the Council of Delegates and the 30th International Conference. This slogan aims, in particular, to highlight the Movement's willingness to form partnerships in order to address the needs of the most vulnerable people. It will remain the guiding slogan of the Movement and all its statutory meetings over the next four years, including those convened by the International Federation. It will also be used for World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day on 8 May 2007.
