Côte d'Ivoire – Korhogo. The late onset of the 2005 rainy season combined with the effects of the conflict have completely emptied the artificial lake that provides water to the 100,000 inhabitants of Korhogo city. ICRC engineers dealt with the emergency situation by rehabilitating three boreholes, organizing water trucking and setting up water distribution points in the city during the 5 months of the dry season.
