Nigeria - the work of the ICRC and the Nigerian Red Cross
The ICRC and the Nigerian Red Cross work together on a range of activities which include helping those affected by violence, immunizing children against disease and improving conditions in detention facilities.

The Red Cross also distributes emergency relief to people who, displaced by violence, are forced to find refuge in army barracks, schools, churches or mosques.
