Zimbabwe: providing vital drugs and safe water to rural health centres

Registered General Nurse, Elizabeth Chawabvunza, Nurse-in-Charge of Mayo 2 Clinic, discuss the list of needed drugs with Herbert Mutubuki, ICRC Health Field Officer.

The ICRC contributes drugs including antibiotics to treat respiratory tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases and other ailments. Medical materials and consumables such as syringes, latex gloves, face masks, among other supplies are provided to meet the needs of health facilities as these items are generally in short supply in rural areas.
