25-09-2009 09/192 Azerbaijan: ICRC restores water supply to frontline school and health point Baku (ICRC) – A health point and a secondary school serving over 3500 returnees of the two frontline villages of Yuhari Qiyamadinli and Mirzanagilar in Agjabadi district, now have access to clean water thanks to work carried out by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in cooperation with local authorities and community members. "Both villages are situated in the immediate vicinity of the Line of Contact and continue to suffer from the effects of the Nagorny Karabakh conflict. The village infrastructure, in particular the water supply network, was not restored completely," says Khurshida Mambetova, the head of the ICRC's office in Barda.
