Revised Chinese translation of A Memory of Solferino
The ICRC organized several exhibitions throughout China as part of the Our World. Your Move. campaign. On 22 June it opened the Our World – At War photo exhibition at Capital Library, Beijing, in cooperation with the Beijing Branch of the Chinese Red Cross, the Swiss embassy and MR Gallery. During the opening ceremony, the organization launched the revised Chinese edition of Henri Dunant's book A Memory of Solferino jointly with the Chinese Red Cross.

Symposium to mark the 60th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions
On 12 August, the Chinese IHL Committee and the ICRC jointly convened a one-day symposium in Beijing to mark the 60th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions. The event was attended by senior representatives of the IHL Committee’s member bodies, including the ministry of foreign affairs, the Chinese Red Cross, the ministry of justice, the ministry of education and the army. Other participants included the Swiss embassy, UNESCO and the ICRC, together with legal experts from universities throughout China.
