Humanity in War exhibition, Kuwait Red Crescent Society

From 12 to 15 May 2009, the main hall of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) played host to the Humanity in War photo exhibition.

Schoolchildren, Society personnel and a host of other visitors had an opportunity to see this fascinating insight into the Movement's humanitarian action in the field.

Combined Humanity in War and Our World at War exhibition, The Avenues

With the support of the ICRC’s delegation in Kuwait, the KRCS mounted an exhibition mixing photos from Humanity in War, Our World at War and KRCS activities worldwide from 24 to 27 June in The Avenues, one of Kuwait’s leading shopping centres.

Both events were opened by the President and the Secretary-General of the KRCS.

Kuwait. A young visitor studies photographer James Nachtwey’s introduction to the Humanity in War exhibition. The exhibition was organized jointly by the ICRC and the Kuwait Red Crescent Society to mark the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Solferino and took place at "The Avenues" shopping mall.
