Exploring Humanitarian Law (EHL) is an educational programme that is designed to introduce young people to the basic rules of international humanitarian law and to help them incorporate principles of humanity into their daily lives and into their attitudes to events at home and abroad.

Resource pack for teachers of EHL containing the following materials: a handbook for teachers with detailed lesson plans (explorations), a glossary, student aids, a teacher-training video, a methodology guide and an implementation guide.

The course consists of five core modules and offers 30 hours of active learning.

EHL is implemented by education ministries, by youth organizations, and, wherever possible, in cooperation with National Red Cross or Red Crescent societies.
