The ICRC Appeals 2008 present the following figures:

Headquarters Appeal: CHF 161.5 million
Emergency Appeals: CHF 932.6 million which includes a contingency of CHF 44.4 million.

This represents an increase of CHF 89.3 million (+10.6%) compared with the initial 2007 Emergency Appeals i.e. the amount initially appealed for, not including any additional budget extensions that occurred during the year.
