2017 Zimbabwe national IHL moot court competition
The Zimbabwe national IHL moot court competition will be held on 20 October, 2017 at the High Court of Zimbabwe.

The ICRC Harare Regional Delegation co-hosts the annual Zimbabwe National International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Moot Court Competition with the High Court of Zimbabwe and the Law Society of Zimbabwe from 18 – 20 October 2017 in Harare Zimbabwe.
The competition aims to sensitize future lawyers, leaders and decision makers on IHL whilst building advocacy and research skills of its participants.
Held annually since 2006, the Moot Court Competition will bring together four teams from the law faculties of the Great Zimbabwe University (GZU), Midlands State University (MSU), University of Zimbabwe (UZ) and the Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU).

The preliminary round of the competition will be held at the University of Zimbabwe while the final round will be at the High Court of Zimbabwe, Harare. The winning team will represent Zimbabwe at the All Africa IHL Moot Court Competition in Arusha, Tanzania in November 2017.
