Claudia McGoldrick works as Special Adviser to the ICRC’s Presidency and Office of the Director-General. Prior to joining the ICRC in 2006, she worked as Senior Country Analyst for the Norwegian Refugee Council and as Africa Director for the Committee to Protect Journalists in New York. As a journalist reporting for various international media outlets such as the BBC, Reuters, The Economist and The Guardian, she worked for several years in West Africa, Central Asia and the United Kingdom.
