As the recent escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict worsens, it is civilians who are bearing the brunt of the surge in violence.
Men, women, children, the elderly are losing their lives and suffering terrible injuries in relation to the escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. People who have been in touch with us are terrified for themselves and their families and are at a loss as to where to go or what to do to stay safe. They are caught in the crossfire and deeply fearful for their safety and future.
The ICRC welcomes the ceasefire announced on Saturday and hopes that this will bring meaningful relief to the people affected after weeks of intense fighting.
Your donation can help provide them with shelter, medicine and food. Our teams are there to help those in need – please donate to the ICRC today.
