I want to donate to a specific country or context that doesn’t appear on the website. How should I proceed?
You can specify a country or context that doesn't appear on our website by choosing the general appeal called Your gift of hope :
- When filling in your personal details, tick the box "Dedicate your donation to somebody."
- In the section "My donation is" select "on behalf of" from the drop-down menu.
- You can then mention the operation you wish to support under "Purpose of donation" e.g. Purpose of donation: Nepal
Can I donate for several operations?
Our online system only allows you to donate for one appeal at a time, as this helps to keep the administrative side simple.
If you wish to donate to several appeals, you'll have to complete the donation process for each appeal separately.
I filled in the form correctly, but your site didn’t transfer me to Saferpay. Why not?
If the Saferpay site is very busy, you might not be able to get in. Just wait a few seconds, go back to the form, refresh the page and try again.
If after several attempts you still can't access the Saferpay site, you may need to change your web browser's security settings.
If the problem continues, please contact us.
I was able to get into Saferpay and enter my credit-card number, but the system didn’t accept my payment. Why not?
Your credit card may be invalid or expired. Please check with your card issuer or bank.
How can I be sure my payment has been accepted?
If you entered a valid email address, you will receive a message confirming your donation.
If you don't receive an email within about 15 minutes, please contact us to request confirmation of your donation.
Can I make a donation without giving my personal details?
If you wish to make an anonymous donation, just write "ANO" in the compulsory fields. But if you want to receive a confirmation of your donation, you'll need to supply a valid email address.
