Logistics Officer - Port Moresby

We offer interesting and rewarding work in an international and humanitarian environment. The Logistics officer will support the team in Port Moresby and could be working occasionally in operations, transportation and warehousing.


  • Handles logistic operation of small/medium delegation
  • Implements and runs basic logistic procedures
  • Negotiates basic contractual matters with external interlocutors
  • Coordinates and/or handles warehouse and logistic activities for any kind of ICRC operation


  • University degree or relevant experience and education
  • 2 year work experience in a similar field
  • Good knowledge of the local market and commercial legislation
  • Fluent in written and spoken English / Pidgin
  • Excellent computer knowledge
  • Team leadership skills
  • Confirmed capacity to implement general ICRC procedures
  • Good analytical skills
  • IMPEX / Purchasing knowledge desirable
  • Driving license
